Lesson 2: Yogic Philosophy

Today was an excellent meeting. We did a brief overview of last weeks session and then covered the remaining eight limbs, the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, the three Gunas (tamas, rajas, and sattva), and the vedas (vedanta & upanishads). We also dived into the 3 bodies or deha (physical, subtle, and causal) alone with discussing manas (the mind), buddhi (the intellect), the 5 senses, the 5 pranas vayus (winds), the 5 Koshas and how this all leads to Self Realization which is the true purpose of Yoga and Yogic Philosophy. We did not have a chance to cover the Yogic Philosophy assignment. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us at support@aurawellnesscenter.com.
